Introduction[edit | edit source]

  • A small village in Romania (900 people) suffers from power failures.
  • Some people in the village want to explore sustainable options to become less dependent from the national grid.
  • They are thinking about solar panels, wind mills or a water mill in the local creek.
  • In the first phase we will focus on exploring the solar panel option.

Questions[edit | edit source]

  • Do the local energy suppliers own the network?
  • What is the name of the local energy supplier?
  • Should they build a local micro grid that's connected to the national grid?

Extra info[edit | edit source]

  • The village is close to Târgu Mureş. See the centre of the picture on this page.
